Minnesota Hockey District 9

District Spring Meeting Scheduled

CHANGE IN DATE: The District 9 Spring meeting will be held on May 21st, 2012 in Rochester.  Attendance by Association Representatives is mandatory.  Please get your association contact information (President, VP, ACE, Tournament Coordinator, etc.) to Kathy Hollon ASAP.  More details to follow.

Level 4 Certification Clinic

Level 4 Certification Clinic in Rochester May 19-20!

 

It's official, we’re hosting a Level 4 clinic in Rochester May 19-20,

2012 at the Ramada. Check the USA Hockey site to register.

Remember that once you complete a Level 4 clinic, you are not required to attend another clinic.

2012 International Girls’ Hockey Coaching Symposium

The first annual 2012 International Girls’ Hockey Coaching Symposium will take place June 9th, 2012, at Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Faribault, MN.

SSM is known for being one of the premier sites for elite level hockey competition and impactful player development, winning a total of 12 National hockey titles since year 2000. Coaches attending this clinic will gain insight into many performance related areas, while addressing important issues relating specifically to coaching female hockey players of all ages and abilities.
Eric Means, Head Women’s Hockey Coach at Minnesota State University - Mankato, will be the featured guest speaker for this event.
Guest coaches also include Steve Macdonald, Assistant Women’s Hockey Coach for University of Minnesota – Duluth, and Joel Johnson, Assistant Women’s Hockey Coach for the University of Minnesota.

District 9 was developed in 2010 by Minnesota Hockey and covers south central and southeastern Minnesota, from the Wisconsin border to St. Peter/New Ulm and from Faribault/Northfield to the Iowa border.

Minnesota State Mavericks Presents.........

Maverick Saturdays:  It is an opportunity for youth hockey players to participate in a 1 hour ice session at the Verizon Center in Downtown Mankato, Home of the MSU Mavericks Hockey Team and attend an NCAA Division I Hockey Game!

2012 Maximum Stride Hockey Camp - Shattuck / St. Mary's

Jason Horstman and Danny Wood are once again offering the Maximum Stride Hockey Camp in 2012.  The camp will be headquartered at Shattuck St. Mary's and runs July 2 - 6.  There are a number of options available, as shown in the document below.  This includes all the information you need to make this a successful opportunity for your skater!  You can also check out www.maximumstridehockey.com.
